H...That is so cool that we both love older people!! Haha. I don't know why, I'm just drawn to them.
Anyway, thanks for your comments! And what you were saying about being saved... remember Matthew 7:21-23, "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'" That definitely puts a new perspective in my mind!
And about God's grace -- I agree, God will forgive us each and every time we ask, but we will always pay consequences for the sin that we do, because God gives us a free will (BUT we have to pay the consequences for the sin that we do). But God only forgives if we are sincere about it. If at the end of the day we just mumble, "God forgive me of all my sins." but don't mean it, then God knows that and probably won't forgive us. Do you know what I'm saying?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
